As the air turns cooler, the leaves start to change, and Halloween creeps nearer, I start to think about rotating displays in my size-limited toy room. It's hard to resist the temptation to pack up Flash Gordon and put out a haunted house, or replace a few red shirts on the Star Trek shelf with a zombie horde. It's fun to celebrate the holidays by adjusting shelves just a little, especially around Halloween, Christmas, and New Year's. Of course my ReAction Sam and Kenner-style Alien stay out all year, haunting various locations like Jabba's Palace and Cobra Island, but all-in-all horror tends to be a smaller portion of my collection. Do you set up special displays for specific holidays? If not, give it a try this year and let your hobby permeate your festivities!
Does your collection follow the seasons?
